The nice thing about list building is that you can start wherever you are, you can start at o names or 1000 names and build from there. Your list can grow slowly or quickly. You can start out working one hour a day, and add 3 names per day and have 100 names by the end of the month. And you should make 50 dollars that month. The next month you do the same—add 3 per day, and at the end of the month, you have 200 names, and you should have made 100 dollars that month.
Maybe once you get started, and you make your first 50 dollars, you get excited and decide to spend 4 hours a day and do whatever it takes to get to 20 names per day or 100 names per day and make the money happen faster.
But you can do it at your own pace, and the work you have already done in the past adds to your future income.
Remember, the money you make on your list is monthly, not one time. As long as you nourish your list, you continue to earn money off it month after month.
In effect, there is an exponential growth to your income. Imagine the first month you add 100 names to your list—your income is around 50 dollars. If you continue doing the same amount of work, whatever is necessary to get 100 names per month, by the end of the 12th month you have 1200 names and a 600 dollar per month income. Keep in mind, though, you are doing exactly the same amount of monthly work as you were doing to make 50 dollars the first month. Imagine if you add 1000 names per month to your list. Or 10, as some marketers are doing.
You see, that is what excites me the most about the online world. Everyone is equal, online. It doesn’t matter what neighborhood you live in, how good your English is, or how big your storefront. Everyone is equal.
Everyone can advertise in the same places, reach the same prospects, and send them the same information. The only limiting factor online is knowledge–knowing exactly what to do and how to do it to make money. But once you know that, you can do the same things the experts and the online millionaires do.
What was most exciting to me, was that once I had built my first profitable list (and I was profitable before I had 200 names on my list), I immediately recognized that there were going to be two keys to my success.
The first key–do everything possible to get as many names on my list as quickly as possible.
The second key–test every letter I send out for maximum profitability.
And that is exactly what I have done. I am building lists quickly and easily. And I am testing everything I do.
